PlayCademy is warmly inviting you to participate in FREE trials of the playful math courses that we are offering in Fall 2024! You child can explore the lesson(s) and pick their favourite. Activities in the trial lessons will be representative of the activities and approaches used in the regular Fall Session classes.
Come play math with us! Lesson descriptions and schedules are posted below.
Logic Puzzles & Games
Saturday, October 5th
a) Mini Gators (Age 3-5): 10-11 am
b) Mighty Gators (Age 6-7): 12-1 pm
c) Mega Gators (Age 8-10): 2-3 pm
In this class we will:
Explore attribute blocks and other manipulatives used in Logic Puzzles & Games sessions (including geoboards, pattern blocks, and Kohs/Nikitin blocks).
Play logic game(s).
Solve logic puzzles.

2. Math Stories & Crafts
Saturday, October 12th
a) Mini Gators (Age 3-5): 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
b) Mighty Gators (Age 6-7): 1-2 pm
c) Mega Gators (Age 8-10): 3-4 pm
In this class we will:
Read math picture books (Mini Gators: "Counting Crocodiles" by Judy Sierra; Mighty Gators: "A Trapezoid is NOT a Dinosaur" by Suzanne Morris; Mega Gators: "Monster Math" by Anne Miranda).
Get crafty with paint and construction paper.
Play math games.

3. Screen-Free Coding
Saturday, October 19th
a) Mini Gators (Age 3-5): 4-5 pm
Friday, October 18th
b) Mighty Gators (Age 6-7): 6-7 pm
Sunday, October 20th
c) Mega Gators (Age 8-10): 3-4 pm
In this class we will:
Program robots to complete tasks (Mini Gators: Colby the Mouse; Mighty Gators: Botley; Mega Gators: Earl).
Solve paper and puzzle based coding challenges.
Play coding games.
