Age and Reading Level – 4-8, Kindergarten to Grade 2. These early readers are created to encourage first independent reading after a child learned the alphabet.
Short simple words and sentences with multiple repetition will help your child’s reading flow naturally. Story also contains sight words, levels Kindergarten to Grade 1.
Games included at the end of each book provide additional fun reading practice to ensure your child will want to read over and over again.

A FEW WORDS FROM THE AUTHOR
"Penny and Plum" is planned as a series of early readers. The first book, "Can you find me?", was self-published in March 2025. I am hoping to self-publish the second book of the series before the end of spring 2025.
"Penny and Plum" is written for all reading beginners, first of all - my daughter Astrid who is currently 5 years old and just starting reading her first books.
Penny's character is based on Astrid's appearance and personality while Plum's character is based on one of Astrid's favorite stuffed animals, a pig that she called "Bosshog" :).
