Help your 1st and 2nd grade students master place value with this hands-on “I Have, Who Has?” place value game! Kids practice tens and ones, reinforce number sense, and match numerals to base ten blocks in a fun, interactive math center activity. Perfect for small groups, whole-class review, or early finisher practice.
What’s Included:
• 48 “I Have, Who Has?” cards (4 per page, 12 pages)
• Numerals and numbers represented with base ten blocks
• Easy-to-print PDF (print full size or 2 pages per sheet to save paper)
How to Play:
- Pass out one card per student (or a few depending on the number of players).
- The first player reads their card. “I have 32. Who has 44?” (The 44 is shown on the card as base ten blocks.)
- The student holding the card with that numeral responds: “I have 44. Who has 26 (shown on the card as base ten blocks)?”
- Continue reading and responding until the loop is complete.
- I recommend starting with the designated “Start” card but the loop will work no matter which card you begin with.

- Place value (tens and ones)
- Number recognition and base ten understanding
- Listening and sequencing skills
- Subitizing
